One of the biggest challenges that face Christians is the fear of dying prematurely. God has promised that those who obey Him will live long. But long life is not length of days. Not to be born at all is better than to live long purposelessly.

God has not given us the spirit of fear; He has given us eternal life that carries power, love and a sound mind.  Reject fear.

God does not reckon time the way we do. We reckon length of days or old age from the perspective of how long a person has lived on the earth. God reckons length of days from the perspective of fulfillment of destiny.

When He says ‘with long life I will satisfy thee’ it means ‘If you are willing and obedient, He will make it His responsibility that you live long enough to fulfill your divine task on earth.

Moses lived 120 years but died prematurely. He died before his time. But because he was the meekest man on earth and served God with his whole heart, God by the hand of Archangel Michael raised him from the dead and took him to Heaven. He will be brought back to earth during the Tribulation Period to fulfill his destiny before dying properly.

John the Baptist lived 31 years and died at a very old age. He fulfilled his divine assignment completely. His continued stay on earth would have had a negative effect on the ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ. He himself said: “He (Christ) must increase, but I must decrease.” (Jn 3:30)

Elijah disturbed God so much with the desire to die when he had not completed his duty tour. Because of his previously demonstrated faithfulness, God took him to heaven to bring him back during the Tribulation Period to complete his work before dying.

Josiah fulfilled his destiny and God permitted his foolishness to be the means of bringing him home.

On several occasions Satan induced the Jews to kill Jesus. “Therefore they sought to take Him; but no one laid a hand on Him, because His hour had not yet come” (Jn 7:30). Every person implanted with a Hypostatic Chip has inscribed therein the hour to return to base.

Consequently, it is impossible for a child of God who is living in obedience to the will of the Father to die before his or her time.

If what you are doing now is not in line with the divine plan for your existence on earth, God is not obliged to prevent you from dying prematurely. If a Christian dies before the appointed time, as far as God is concerned, he or she has no need for the balance of his or her days.

Are you a born again Christian? Are you living in the perfect will of the Father? Then rejoice “for you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.” (Col 3:3)

There are different kinds of faith.  In Mk 11:22 Jesus said: ‘Have faith in God.’ To have faith in God means to have the God-kind of faith.  This is saving faith, which is different from other kinds of faith such as natural faith and presumptive faith. The God-kind of faith is based not on presumption or trial and error but on the authenticity of who God is and the infallibility of His Word. The human soul thrives on unrealized, future expectations.  Hope is unrealized expectation.

Faith gives substance to hope.  Without faith hope is useless.  What is hoped for can be seen with spiritual eyes.  The evidence is the Character of God who cannot lie and His infallible promises in His Word.  Faith gives tangibility to what cannot be perceived with the senses.

Faith is now and flows from the heart or the inner man; it does not come from head knowledge or feelings expressed in the natural human senses.  Faith comes from a conviction based on hearing the Word of God and is creative.

Faith looks to the future as repentance looks to the past.  The progression of the principles of the doctrine of Christ starts with the past to the present and to the future.  Repentance deals with the past.  Salvation is now, while saving faith sustains the past, the present and the future life of the believer.

The God-kind of faith calls those things that are not perceived by the senses as though they were.  In other words, faith is the ‘substance,’ tangibility or practicality of what is hoped for.  Faith is the stand-in for the hope that has not manifested.

Faith is not needed for what is seen or can be perceived by the senses.  The spiritual realm is contacted through faith, which believes God and take Him at His Word, so that when a promise has not manifested, it is appropriated now to manifest in future.

As noted earlier, faith originates from God as a gift, an act of grace.  It is received in, and proceeds from, the spiritman.  Faith has the potential for increase through use and through precept-upon-precept addition by the Word of God.  Faith can grow, not through prayer for increase, but by use and can be added on by virtue, knowledge and understanding. Assurance of faith is hearing and doing the Word of God.

Jesus asked this question: “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season?” (Mt 24:45). To have faith is to focus on the mandate and ministry of Jesus. A faithful follower of Jesus Christ is one who is able to:

  1. Endure persecution.

  2. Trust that Jesus will do what He promised to do.

  3. Be steadfast and unmovable in following Jesus to the end.

  4. Be in daily expectation of His return.

  5. Occupy till He (Jesus) comes to earth again.

  6. Busy working the works of God.

  7. Shun weird doctrines and modern fads that lead to perdition.

Faithfulness is witnessing for Christ “… and you shall be witnesses to Me.” It is following Christ and abiding in Him to the end. It calls for total devotion to the Lord and His mandate. Faithfulness is expectation of heavenly rewards. It is to believe Jesus when He said: “I come quickly and My reward is with Me.” It also means to do one’s assigned duty and be able to declare: “I have fought a good fight, I have finished ….”. Faithfulness is to look forward with tenacity to the evacuation of the Church Jesus Christ to heaven to occur any time from now. Faith is the anchor for enduring hardship with the hope of receiving heavenly rewards at the Judgment Seat of Christ after the rapture of the Church.

Faith is measurable from no faith to great faith. Even so, abiding in Christ is measurable from stand aloof to full immersion submission and fire baptism in the Holy Spirit. This is the God-kind of faith that endures hardness, persecution and diverse temptations. Works done by faith produce fruits of righteousness. Grace takes to heaven but works done in faith determine ones position in eternal hierarchy. For, it is the grace of God that has appeared to all that can take you to heaven. Even within the Body of Christ in glory, a select few will function as priests in similitude to the Aaronic priesthood. Your works and labor of love in the Vineyard of the Lord will determine your hierarchical position in the millennial kingdom of God.

Articulating faith through works is the biblical standard. The truth is that without faith it is impossible to please God. Faith as a supernatural phenomenon is valuable only when it is living.  The exercise of faith must affect your life and environment positively.  Faith can be seen, demonstrated and is measurable.

The God-kind of faith is a spirit; it is not a natural life force.  Before you became born-again you did not have the God-kind of faith.  At the point of salvation, you received the gift of faith.  It came to you as a gift, a favor. Faith must be shown through works, otherwise, it is inoperative and useless. Jam 2:14, 17 and 26

Jesus is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.

In eternity past when plans were made to expand the household of God by creating a visible realm, God knew that some of His created beings will fail the test of dispensational approval. Consequently, modalities were set for the redemption of what God would lose.

Jesus volunteered to be the Seed of the woman in order to redeem fallen mankind. The decision was recorded in the Volume of books to the effect that Jesus is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.

He was therefore deemed to have been slain in eternity past – before any form of creation took place. “All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world” (Rev 13:8).

Jesus came to earth because He had already been slain in the reckoning of God. There are other reasons that compelled His coming.

He came to reclaim His kingdom by re-uniting the earth with heaven, pay the price for human sin and redemption, build and replace the fallen angelic host with glorified human beings, and remove the curse pronounced on the earth for man’s sake. In addition, He came to restitute all things by reverting to conditions before the rebellion of Lucifer and transgression of Adam, so that the prayer of saints down the centuries ‘Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven’ will become a reality.

Fusion of Two Spiritual Bodies

“For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” (Eph 5:31 NKJV)

Whether a marriage is joined by God or not results in the fusing of two spiritual bodies into one. It is a blood covenant. It could improve or worsen the spiritual status of those being joined.

Matrimony is a family affair. It is optional and a fundamental human right to participate or refrain from participating. It is not the business of civil administration to interfere in the private sphere of a citizen’s life.

For Christians marriage is not a sacrament. The church has no authority for interfering in its administration other than to interpret the rules of engagement as provided for in the Bible.

No civil authority has an inherent right to join a man and a woman in matrimony. This is the state of the divine. Since a principal cannot delegate what it does not have, the state cannot license places of worship with the mandate of conducting wedlock on its behalf.

The bible does not empower any Christian denomination to join a man and a woman in wedlock. There is no divine authority for a minister to posit that he or she has the authority of heaven to join a man and a woman in matrimonial relationship. The reason is simple.

Cleaving has human and supernatural inputs.  Therefore, no person, organization or state can perform the supernatural act of joining a man and a woman in matrimony, which God has put under His own authority.

Take note of the following biblical provision for a marriage joined by God.

  • For a wedding joined by God to take place an eligible man and an eligible woman must agree directly or by proxy to enter into a matrimonial covenant.
  • The man and the woman must obtain the consent of their parents in person or through their duly appointed representatives to be joined as husband and wife. This is leaving.
  • In cleaving man and woman so permitted by their parents must engage in conjugal sex for the first time. The moment the man’s manhood crosses the door of the woman, the human part of wedding comes to an end. The next is joining by divine action.

Supernatural Joining

Once the hymen of the woman is broken in actuality or by presumption the following divine acts take place.

Spiritual Imprint

There is an exchange of identification mark. The man’s imprint is placed on the woman’s spirit and the woman’s imprint is placed on the man’s spirit. The purpose is not only for mutual identification but for the unification process to comprehensively cover spirit, soul and body.

The soul of the man is tied to the woman and vice versa. That is, 50% of the man’s soul is made available to the woman and 50% of the woman’s soul is made available to the man. This tie is the means whereby agape-love resident in the Hypostatic Chip is transmitted through the spirit to the soul. Love and submission the two pivotal ingredients of marriage are activated by soul-tie.

Fusion of Bodies

The spiritual body of the man and the spiritual body of the woman are fused into one entity. This fused spiritual body is present in each partner.

From that moment on a man and a woman have been joined and become one flesh.

“But from the beginning of the creation, God ‘made them male and female.’ For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh” (Mk 10:6-8).

The physical body of the husband is deemed to belong to his wife and the wife’s body is deemed to belong to her husband. From that moment further acts of sexual intimacy will not show anywhere in the spirit realm. That is what would have happened to Adam if Eve had not been brought out of him.

This kind of joining cannot be dissolved or annulled by man or civil authority. “Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate” (Mk 10:9).

Consequently, civil divorce cannot nullify a wedlock joined by God. It is almost impossible for a marriage joined by God to be dissolved by divorce. So the challenge is to have a marriage joined by God or correct an ungodly marriage and make it one joined by God. How that can be done is topic for another day.

The three most-hated leaders today are Benjamin Netanyahu, Donald Trump and Boris Johnson.  Without them, the world would have been at war by now.

Opinion moulders in the kingdom of darkness are knowledgeable people. They read the Bible. They plan ahead. Being strategic is nothing new to them.

Satan thought Cain was the Seed of the woman. He strategized and lured him into becoming a murderer.

King Herod heard that a King had been born. He ordered the murder of several children two years and under.

Before he died, Israel uttered a glorious prophetic future for his son Judah. The accuser of the brethren lured him to abandon all the eligible women in Israel to go and marry the ‘daughter of a certain Canaanite whose name was Shua’ who gave him three sons.

He settled down in Canaan. The incest he committed with his daughter-in-law led to the erasure of ten generations from the lineage of the Lord.

One factor that does not vary in their scheming is going ahead of time. There is a prophetic utterance by Ezekiel that Russia, Iran & company will attempt to invade Israel in the full bloom of the deception that the ‘man of peace’ is Israel’s expected Messiah.

Ezekiel 38:

2 “Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him,

3 “and say, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal.

4 “I will turn you around, put hooks into your jaws, and lead you out, with all your army, horses, and horsemen, all splendidly clothed, a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords.

5 “Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya are with them, all of them with shield and helmet;

6 “Gomer and all its troops; the house of Togarmah from the far north and all its troops-many people are with you.

7 “Prepare yourself and be ready, you and all your companies that are gathered about you; and be a guard for them.

8 “After many days you will be visited. In the latter years you will come into the land of those brought back from the sword and gathered from many people on the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate; they were brought out of the nations, and now all of them dwell safely.

9 “You will ascend, coming like a storm, covering the land like a cloud, you and all your troops and many peoples with you.”

10 ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “On that day it shall come to pass that thoughts will arise in your mind, and you will make an evil plan:

11 “You will say, ‘I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates’ –

12 “to take plunder and to take booty, to stretch out your hand against the waste places that are again inhabited, and against a people gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who dwell in the midst of the land.

13 “Sheba, Dedan, the merchants of Tarshish, and all their young lions will say to you, ‘Have you come to take plunder? Have you gathered your army to take booty, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to take great plunder?'”‘

14 “Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “On that day when My people Israel dwell safely, will you not know it?

15 “Then you will come from your place out of the far north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great company and a mighty army.

16 “You will come up against My people Israel like a cloud, to cover the land. It will be in the latter days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me, when I am hallowed in you, O Gog, before their eyes.”

17 ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “Are you he of whom I have spoken in former days by My servants the prophets of Israel, who prophesied for years in those days that I would bring you against them?

18 “And it will come to pass at the same time, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” says the Lord GOD, “that My fury will show in My face.”  (NKJV)

To be continued.
