Fusion of Two Spiritual Bodies

“For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” (Eph 5:31 NKJV)

Whether a marriage is joined by God or not results in the fusing of two spiritual bodies into one. It is a blood covenant. It could improve or worsen the spiritual status of those being joined.

Matrimony is a family affair. It is optional and a fundamental human right to participate or refrain from participating. It is not the business of civil administration to interfere in the private sphere of a citizen’s life.

For Christians marriage is not a sacrament. The church has no authority for interfering in its administration other than to interpret the rules of engagement as provided for in the Bible.

No civil authority has an inherent right to join a man and a woman in matrimony. This is the state of the divine. Since a principal cannot delegate what it does not have, the state cannot license places of worship with the mandate of conducting wedlock on its behalf.

The bible does not empower any Christian denomination to join a man and a woman in wedlock. There is no divine authority for a minister to posit that he or she has the authority of heaven to join a man and a woman in matrimonial relationship. The reason is simple.

Cleaving has human and supernatural inputs.  Therefore, no person, organization or state can perform the supernatural act of joining a man and a woman in matrimony, which God has put under His own authority.

Take note of the following biblical provision for a marriage joined by God.

  • For a wedding joined by God to take place an eligible man and an eligible woman must agree directly or by proxy to enter into a matrimonial covenant.
  • The man and the woman must obtain the consent of their parents in person or through their duly appointed representatives to be joined as husband and wife. This is leaving.
  • In cleaving man and woman so permitted by their parents must engage in conjugal sex for the first time. The moment the man’s manhood crosses the door of the woman, the human part of wedding comes to an end. The next is joining by divine action.

Supernatural Joining

Once the hymen of the woman is broken in actuality or by presumption the following divine acts take place.

Spiritual Imprint

There is an exchange of identification mark. The man’s imprint is placed on the woman’s spirit and the woman’s imprint is placed on the man’s spirit. The purpose is not only for mutual identification but for the unification process to comprehensively cover spirit, soul and body.

Soul-tie

The soul of the man is tied to the woman and vice versa. That is, 50% of the man’s soul is made available to the woman and 50% of the woman’s soul is made available to the man. This tie is the means whereby agape-love resident in the Hypostatic Chip is transmitted through the spirit to the soul. Love and submission the two pivotal ingredients of marriage are activated by soul-tie.

Fusion of Bodies

The spiritual body of the man and the spiritual body of the woman are fused into one entity. This fused spiritual body is present in each partner.

From that moment on a man and a woman have been joined and become one flesh.

“But from the beginning of the creation, God ‘made them male and female.’ For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh” (Mk 10:6-8).

The physical body of the husband is deemed to belong to his wife and the wife’s body is deemed to belong to her husband. From that moment further acts of sexual intimacy will not show anywhere in the spirit realm. That is what would have happened to Adam if Eve had not been brought out of him.

This kind of joining cannot be dissolved or annulled by man or civil authority. “Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate” (Mk 10:9).

Consequently, civil divorce cannot nullify a wedlock joined by God. It is almost impossible for a marriage joined by God to be dissolved by divorce. So the challenge is to have a marriage joined by God or correct an ungodly marriage and make it one joined by God. How that can be done is topic for another day.
